Below is an explanation of the things we need to know in order to make your extension springs. Tell us what you know and we will do the rest.

1. Length of the spring inside the hooks.
2. Wire diameter (we can produce springs in diameters from 0.15 mm to 25.4 mm)
3. Body diameter (Maximum outside diameter and minimum inside diameter)
4. Loop/hook diameter (if different from body)
5. Wire material (We can source all materials as requested including Carbon, Stainless, Silicon Chrome, Chrome Vanadium and Copper Alloys)
6. Total number of coils (The fewer the coils, the stronger the spring)
7. Initial Tension (the force required to open the coils of the spring)
8. Spring rate (the load in pounds per inch required to extend the spring. We can calculate this for you. Alternatively you can use it as the starting point for your spring design)
9. Load fully extended (for each specific application)
10. End style (need to specify i.e. machine loop, crossover loop, double twisted loop etc.)
